The hotel was fairly clean with great location very close to bus stops for connecting to JR Kyoto Station and brand-new rooms. Location: the property was right by cafe and restaurants, and the Imperial palace and other palaces. We found nice Sanjo Wakasaya nearby with hot beverages...

Our room was warm and exceptionally nice and provided with a nice design, great view as expected.

this was a fairly nice trip, i didn't want to say goodbye. i booked a room with a comfortable bed, central heating, multi-channel television, and a refrigerator.

Smartly arranged room, friendly staff, nice location, conveniently located, clean and quiet.

We had an amazing stay at this hotel! It had a great location, situated very close to the bus stops that connect to JR Kyoto Station and the subway station, making it very convenient to get around. It was also located next to the castle and many areas were within walking distance. The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly, making our stay very pleasant. Additionally, the hotel facilities were great, including a good laundry-machine for longer stays, free drinks, and a microwave at the front desk. We also loved that breakfast was included at a good price, and the room was spacious and clean.

I recently stayed at this hotel and had a fantastic experience. First of all, the location was perfect - it was very close to bus stops and the metro, making it easy for me to explore the city. Additionally, being next to the castle was a bonus, as it provided a beautiful backdrop to my stay. The staff were extremely friendly and went out of their way to ensure I had everything I needed. The rooms on the 10th floor offered a great view of the city, which added to the overall experience. Lastly, the breakfast was delicious and offered a variety of options to suit different tastes.

Well-cleaned rooms with great shower pressure. 4 good nights of sleep with provided robe and slippers. Close to Nijo Castle and subway station. Good access to city center. Cozy single rooms. Laundry machine, free drinks, and microwave available.

Staying in this hotel was truly an exceptional experience. The location is perfect, with easy access to public transportation to explore the city. The room was cozy, clean, and well-equipped with all necessary amenities. The staff was so helpful and friendly, going above and beyond to make sure my stay was comfortable. Even the breakfast was a delightful experience, offering delicious Japanese cuisine that satisfied my taste buds. The hotel's comic collection was truly impressive, and the cherry on top was the free coffee and tea at the reception.

The noise from the street was quite disturbing, which made it difficult to keep the window open without using the air conditioner.

Our romantic escape was overshadowed by the noise level outside the hotel. We were unable to get a good night’s sleep due to the traffic noise from the nearby road.

The cleanliness of the room was a major disappointment. The duvet had oil spots on it, which immediately gave us a negative impression upon arrival.
